That’s so true. The coalition that came together to elect Biden has to hold together. Yes it’s broad, and yes there are differences among us in it, but for the good of our democracy, we have to hold it together.

The Democratic party needs to coalesce and stop cannibalizing our own. Right now isn't the time to argue. It's the time to work in solidarity to overcome the damage done by Trump and the GOP.

Many of us saw this over the last 4 years, not simply the last 4 weeks. One lesson learned in the 1930's for any defender of democracy is move early against fascist tendencies and Orwellian messaging in particular. Think of Trumpism as Covid20; a novel virus destroying democracy.

It honestly does appear that Fascism is a virus. Certain societies and subpopulations seem particularly vulnerable. Weirdly, there's a subset on the Left w/Authoritarian tendencies & they already are forming a circular firing squad.
