Do u really think average Americans have faith in the SCOTUS now? The conservatives on the court are protecting that uninidicted co conspirated criminal. We haven't forgotten that farce of a trial CJ Roberts presided over as a potted plant or them protecting his taxes.
SCOTUS has been mostly trusted or mistrusted since began. If takes cases with huge political impact, it’s sure to enrage losing side. That’s why Roberts “saved” the ACA. SCOTUS was undermining its own good will w ppl by being too obviously right wing. He had to keep Rs in line.
He doesn’t even hold a real majority either which makes his actions all the more infuriating. Republican senators only represent 40 some % of the population. That needs to change. They have too much power and no real majority.
