Agree 100%. Felt that way when I first heard the name. That, and terming the heads of agencies “Tsars” also felt entirely inappropriate.
I thought at the time it was no accident that "Homeland Security" and "Axis of evil" came out of the "War on Terror". Words matter.
Actions following words matter. This is psychological ware fare.
Homeland Security needs a new broom to clean it out. I don't know if any 70 year old can do it but it needs to be done. Soon.
