American journalists have an absolute professional and ethical responsibility to ask Trump about Russian bounties on the heads of America’s fighting men and women. That he has not been asked about this is simply appalling. Trump’s breach of faith demands accountability. Ask

the question. Demand the answer. The essential role of a free press in a democratic society should be demonstrated in this instance. This is a serious issue and Trump’s transgression against our military must not fade into the abyss of chaos and confusion that shapes our news

As long as corporations own the media, the press is not free.

This is one of the most important stories of his presidency. How is he not being asked?

I still can't believe that they are trying to run out the clock on this and the press is just going to let them do it

Journalists must be as relentless in getting an answer as Trump is in avoiding giving an answer. Haven't seen any of them. He wins every single time.

Then make him tell the lie & expose the lie relentlessly. The MSM supports fascism. ‘The proof is in the pudding.’

All true, but frankly it does little good to ask the question because the response is just word salad and lies. If Trump continues to say the sky is green in response to a question concerning the color of the sky, about all you can do is highlight what a liar he is.

It doesn't matter what the response is. A good journalist asks the question regardless of whether or not they know the answer ahead of time. He NEEDS to be on the record with a response, as craven and ludicrous as it may be. That's what journalism is all about.
