Many of them look at their fellow Americans as enemies. Some of them wear Hawaiian shirts and are heavily armed in preparation for the next Civil War. They have been present on the periphery of peaceful protests and have stormed state Capitols. Trump calls them good people.
These people have followed Trump off the proverbial cliff. They have loosed catastrophe on the country because they refused to wear a mask. The worst case scenario is going to come true in the richest and most powerful country in the world. We are in a precipitous decline.

The GOP leadership (or rank and file for that matter) have done nothing to rein in Trump so far. Why would they change now? Louis Gohmert is a perfect example of their unrelenting juvenile, selfish attitude.
