Tonight the American people and more importantly, graduating High School students will hear from the 44th President of the United States. Though he was never my candidate, he was always my President. He served with dignity and honor. Tonight we should all enjoy the respite
from Trump’s divisiveness, dishonesty, idiocy and corruption. We will be reminded how an American President should comport themselves. Tonight the graduates will be inspired through words that inspire and call them to live lives of purpose. They have seen Trump degrade decency
and all of the worthy virtues. Tonight, they will see a President of the United States and they will be reminded that character is destiny. That is a very good thing.

I’ll be watching @BarackObama tonight. I really miss him. We’ll once again have a leader who has empathy & respect for others. Even if it’s just for 1hr.
