Happened if that great moment of testing had coincided with a degenerate Presidency like Trump’s? What would have happened if dishonesty, indecency, selfishness, depravity and all of Trump’s pathologies and defects were celebrated as virtuous as they are on his propaganda (4)
Networks? What would have happened if one American political party was deeply invested in conspiracy theories and rejected science and data? What would have happened if we had a President like Trump who lacks the moral, mental and intellectual fiber to lead? Thank God we didn’t.
Marshall was following FDR's lead. Blossomed after his death. FDR never has gotten the credit he deserves as a war time president. Churchill beyond his crucial morale boosting was a disaster. Marshall grew under FDR a master at bringing out the best in people.
FDR did many great things for this country. He also imprisoned thousands of American citizens in internment camps, charged with no crime and offered no due process.
