It looks to me as if Trump is following either instructions or expectations directly from Putin: separating the U.S. from European allies and now Canada. Ending alliances that go back 70 years. Creating chaos, distrust, division between Americans, weakening our democracy.

I always use to wonder what the Romans did as their Empire collapsed in the 5th century. Did they know it. I think I know the answer to that question. I imagine sometime in the future, someone will ask the same question about the American Republic

Whispers should now escalate into "megaphone" talk. Why is the Congress hesitating? Are they waiting for an "all hands on deck" warning? Aren't they there to protect the Constitution? From what I see it is in tatters.

I'm just afraid they are all compromised. Perhaps Russia hacked the RNC and has lots of dirt on them? Otherwise I just don't understand.
