With regard to Ted Cruz’s demagoguery and his use of the military as a political prop I wonder what @sethmoulton might have to say. I’m thinking he might have a point of view about the ideas and ideals our flag represents

They always exploit and abuse those who can’t speak against them. Mueller and his team are bound not to talk to press, so the Trump Gang can smear their good work at will. Active duty personnel can’t denounce POTUS. The IC can’t push back. It’s classic bullying.

Those sentinels willingly stand in harm's way, and some even die, to defend the Republic. Willingly. The way to show respect for them is for our leadership in DC to make damned sure they only sacrifice for worthy causes.
