Just heard that on the 10th anniversary of DDay, Pres Eisenhower spent it quietly at Camp David because it was a day to honor the ones who sacrificed, not about him. We could use some if that now.

Unfortunately the repub party lost its way after Eisenhower left office. The party became mean, petty and preferred its supporters uneducated.
