A clear line has been drawn with the release of Trumps legal memo. Make no mistake, it is a direct attack on the rule of law and a declaration of absolute power on the part of the President. It’s thesis must be attacked relentlessly. The American Republic is worth fighting for.

The American people will now get to watch a disgusting display of political cowardice as Paul Ryan and all the rest line up behind Trumps assertion of absolute power like Vichy Sheep. Freedom is being attacked by the very people sworn to preserve it.

Yes. It did in 1939, and it is again. Watch the 1939 version, not that different from today's Trump version, complete with the attacks on the "lying media."pic.twitter.com/JZabaTJqcn

If only we had a broad acceptance of widespread general strikes like they do in France. If tens of millions of us stay home (etc, etc), House leadership would have to act. But we don’t. We have zero respect for strikers. And heads would get bashed. Sooooo..

Start with massive march letting intention be known that everyone will STOP spending money outside of the necessities (food, shelter, gas, medicine) & then even the bare minimum in those areas. You bring the economy to a screeching halt & Trump is gone! Hit them where it hurts.

All I can say is I hope you remember these words when Trump is gone and the GOP starts rebuilding. I hope you will hold all current GOP officials who are complicit in this (i.e., all of them) accountable for their actions and inaction.
-
I say this because as much as I respect your never-Trump credentials, the GOP’s descent into its current state started a LONG time ago, not in 2015.

How were civil rights/voting rights won in the 1950s and ‘60s? Look at Larry Kramer and ACT UP. They’re the roadmaps. Peaceful and disruptive.
