    What makes me sick is this was avoidable. Biden should've never allowed Taliban control before Americans got out—or caved to the Taliban deadline. We don't take orders from terrorists. Biden must get every American home. My prayers are with our fallen heroes & their families.

    The only reason this is one of the largest airlifts in history is because this is one of the largest abandonments in history. If this wasn’t so botched, there would be few to no people who require evacuation. They would have been brought out months ago.

    I joined & my colleagues that bravely served in Afghanistan to emphasize that the first priority of the Admin. right now must be to ensure that American citizens are able to return home from Afghanistan safely. Leaving them is NOT an option under any circumstances.
