.@realDonaldTrump is standing up for American workers. Mexico negotiated in good faith and in a timely manner. It's time for Canada to do the same. Congress intends to fully enforce the deadlines established in the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act.pic.twitter.com/Twbi5UYUGw

Steve’s getting mad at Canada. Well u can’t whip us dude. Our govt plus most educated Canadians know you ain’t going nowhere with a bi lateral deal . House will never approve it. Trumps got nowhere to go. Guess just another failed deal going into midterms

See America. Trumps cornered. He can’t get a bi lateral deal tho Congress . Canada knows that !! We laugh at his auto tariffs that will jack up your car prices by 25 percent. Like to know how many lost jobs that will lead to in US since you make the auto parts..we just assemble

Anyhow.. America did not do its homework. Did no research on how hard Canada negotiates in trade historically. Trump made all kinds of promises. Now can’t even cancel unless he gets the votes..

Being honest...Our government is aware that voters know there was life before after and there will be after. Losing nafta does not mean losing trade. It does not scare us as much as it does trump. Proof is in our negotiators stance .Give us a good deal or so long .

Anyhow.. Donald.. This one with Canada is not in the cards for you to win. We are stronger than you know. Prior to election you sent a message nafta was bad because of Mexico . Now it’s cause of bad milk policies we have in Canada. Conclusion. Trump looses mid terms of milk.

See America. This is over. You are just reading it here first. Our trade officials will say bye to US trade officials very soon. America will learn it’s over. Team Trump will become vicious on fox and bigger enemy than Russia . Trump started this. Canada will end it.

Dairy is 0.1% in U.S.-Canada trade, which amounted to $680 billion last year. As a result of NAFTA, 99% of the trade between Canada and the U.S. is tariff-free. U.S. ran a nearly $3 billion trade surplus with Canada last year.

1/2 One of Trump’s first acts as president was to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Under the TPP, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper had agreed to phase out its dairy supply management program over 10 years.

The Trump mis-administration put tariffs on Canadian aluminum and steel because somehow they represented a National security risk. Is this reasonable? You keep insulting your neighbours and wonder why we don’t care whether or not we’re in TrumpFTA.

It was the US who chose to freeze Canada out of the talks and negotiate bilaterally with Mexico. This is not negotiating in good faith. But we know that the truth and ethics are not the currency of your regime, so why would we expect anything other than alternative facts.

Take a hike Scalise. Canadians do not bow down to dictators or chumps like trump. We are negotiating a fair trade deal. It is about 3 countries. Not just all about the states.
