You know what also raises costs on things we buy? Tariffs.

So do tariffs, and you are dandy with those. How have they affected the port, Louisiana agriculture and fishing?

The Wall St. and Chicago professionals grifters spend hundreds of millions to try to get the ball rolling on carbon trading in the 90's and 00's thinking it would be their biggest scam ever. Smack them down!

The elitist environmentalists would simply pocket the money and claim they're saving the planet. Just look at every member of the UN council on climate change. They're out there ranting about carbon footprints when they're among the worst offenders.

Just like a tax scam passed by your party raises the deficit at a record pace in non-recession America? Zip it, Steve. You are full of it & we all see it.

Sure, what is a little more sea level rise and heavy flooding risk to New Orleans? They'll be fine...

Steve is a creature of DC now. He doesn’t GAF about New Orleans.

Let's just do away with all environment regs. Dump our trash in the street; spew chemical into our rivers; cut down all the trees; eliminate all national parks; do away with the food protection regs; put asbestos back into manufacturing; use the Grand Canyon for a landfill

Charge a carbon tax on McMansions w/over 3000 sq feet - they're the ones hogging up the planet.

How much money does the oil and gas industry contribute directly and indirectly (now more important than ever, thank you) to your campaigns?
-
You’ll have to check with our development department. I don’t handle that side of operations. I’m focused on policy. I do know our support comes from voluntary contributions, unlike
@AFLCIO and other unions, whose $ is taken from worker paychecks w/ out their consent. -
My question was directed at Rep. Scalise but would be appropriately asked of you, as well. I won’t dignify your attempt at comparing union dues to the campaign contributions of the oil and gas industry with a response.

And maybe a carbon tax will also help stop Southern Louisiana from sinking and the Gulf from eating up our wetlands. Tell me again who you represent? Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, or louisiana?
