The House just passed @RepWalberg's bill, Jessie's Law, to combat the #OpioidCrisis. This bill lets patients give their doctors access to their medical history, so that those in recovery from opioid addiction are not prescribed more.pic.twitter.com/vn18gf3MfW

You are proving my earlier point. This is a lock up the drugs bill not a help people recover bill.

Haven't patients always been ABLE to give their medical history? I seem to recall doing this at every single doctor's office I've been to. And dentist. And hospital. And clinic.

In this fight against #opoids you are forgetting about chronic pain patients. They’re being deserted by their doctors bc they fear actually treating their patients like they should. This is not humane to those who suffer. Don’t forget about the CPP!!

Most of these Drs know exactly what's going on and will co tinue to pump out prescriptions whether they have the patients history or not. Gotta make it a point to shut the dirty doctors down. I like working towards a solution, but this isn't gonna do much IMO.
