Accountability within ALL departments of our government would go a long ways.

Why don't you stop them from giving Animal Rights lobby groups tax exempt status like they're charities?

TAX THE CHURCHES. Then talk about anything you want.

No one, as you know, is "stifling" free speech in churches. Unless, of course, they ask people to vote for a certain candidate. Which they can do, just like any other business...provided they pay taxes.

You are speaking at an organization founded by a man who laundered gambling money to pay for illegal lobbying. Americans aren't buying your lies from the pulpit of corruption. Try following the rules.

Don't be an idiot. The IRS isn't stifling free speech. That's not even good spin.

Read the separation of Church and state in the USA Constitution. The founders had a better grasp on tyranny than you. Shame on you.

If ministers are going to preach politics from the pulpit, their churches should not be tax exempt. My political contributions are not tax deductible. Leave politics alone and preach your faith; then you won't be taxed.

Get them to pay taxes then if they want to contribute to politics. Enough of this fairy tale bullshit.

The IRS does not stifle speech in churches. The Johnson amendment applies to 5013c charities run by churches, it does it apply to churches themselves.

Tax the churches like any other entity. Then there’s no problem.

Here's the deal. No matter how much you pander to the far right, you're not their guy. They have someone else in mind for the speaker position. Why not instead stand for truth and integrity and for trying to get things done in cooperation with the Democrats?

if you want free speech, pay your taxes. if you want tax breaks, you don't get the right for me to pay for your views

Perhaps we need to heed the words of Madison who wrote that government involvement with the church "implies either that the civil magistrate is a competent judge of religious truth; or that he may employ religion as an engine of civil policy.

2) The first is an arrogant pretension falsified by the contradictory opinions of rulers in all ages, and throughout the world: the second an unhallowed perversion of the means of salvation."
