The only reason that DC and Puerto Rico are not States yet is because the GOP knows that will result in 4 more Democratic Senators.
Keeping them from becoming States is part of GOP Voter Suppression.
51 states just doesn’t sound right. Let’s make it a clean 52 and include Puerto Rico.

USVI pay taxes but can't vote in presidential elections b/c they're a territory. They should at least have the option to vote on statehood.

Doesn't Puerto Rico contain more Americans than North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming combined? Make it a state.

Better yet, combine the dakotas into one state, and then PR will it 50 again.

No need for odd numbers. No need for new flags. Make DC a state. Give Hawai’i back to the Hawaiian people. Give Puerto Rico independence, a divorce with huge alimony payments, continued US citizenship, and a serious apology.
