Nat'l candidates w/ heart issues: Eisenhower won re-election after a serious heart attack. Cheney suffered his 4th heart attack just before becoming VP and serving for 8 years. Bush 41 was diagnosed w/ irregular heartbeat in office. Bill Bradley was sidelined in '99 for same.
