"Mixing cultures" gave us the blues, country, bluegrass, R&B, jazz, hip hop, K-Pop, reggae, rock & roll, and innumerable other forms of music. On this data point alone, I'd say mixing cultures absolutely leads to a higher quality of life. Please try being less racist, Steve King.

We can't wait to vote for Scholten. Really, the only thing we don't like since moving here is the hateful representatives Iowa has. At least we can add a couple votes against you, and contribute to your opponent!

We don’t have it much better here in Texas. I moved here this year from New Jersey, which is a blue state, & the leadership is heinous. Namely @SenTedCruz. The only one I can’t complain about is @RepAlGreen. I’m voting all blue again next election, even though it may seem futile.

I get it. We were most recently in a red state but had one good rep there as well. We knew it was a swing state here, just never paid much attention to the reps here before we moved. We're voting against all of them, King, Grassley and Ernst when their re-election comes!

I wish there was more of a grass roots movement for liberals here in Texas. I would love to be part of that.

I know. I guess it’s hard to believe what is in front of my eyes...I mean really GOP? The fight for civil rights, equal protection, justice for all—never ends.

In your opinion, are there any countries in the world that are allowed to remain majority white or do all white people need to become displaced minorities in historically majority white homelands?

I’m a white person and an American. It’s literally the ONLY similarity between you and I (although you may be green, idk). When you folks say “white culture” I literally have no fucking clue what that means. Human beings have been essentially migratory for thousands of years.

I grew up in the 60’s. I remember the riots, MLK, RFK, Kent State. I remember the Civil Rights Movement. I remember being against the KKK and EVERYTHING they stand for. I remember. I’ll never forget. Me & my white culture rejects all forms of racism. Period.
