His response gave me chills, similar to those I had after I first heard Obama speak. Beto’s response was eloquent, non-divisive and compassionate. We need Beto in Washington!

@BetoORourke can’t get enough support from Texans so he is relying on campaign funds from outside TX, particularly CA, to finance his run. Tells me his chances of winning are slim. “Beto” is a fraud with a criminal past who has taken an Hispanic nickname to mislead voters.

Beto from El Paso has received 70% of his donations from Texans (no PACs) while Cruz from Canada has received 47% from Texas. Texans for a Texan. #VoteBeto

Cruz was born to an American mother working in Canada (who attended Rice U in Houston) and Cuban father (attended UT), he moved to Houston when he was 4 and was raised here. Sounds like you’re intentionally misleading. BTW, you didn’t address “Beto” eluding to being Hispanic.

Nope, Cruz was born to a woman born in Delaware who, he neglected to mention, lived in the UK w/1st husband prior to moving to Canada. If she didn't respect the uninterrupted US residency requirements & lied to get him a passport (lying runs in the family), he is not a US citizen

Nice try but that’s a lot of ifs that just aren’t applicable. Cruz is an American citizen. He was born to an American citizen (his mother was born in DE) while she was working in Canada.pic.twitter.com/vW2f0LKlYR

Wrong. His father (and mother) were both Canadian citizens at the time of his birth. His father only became a US citizen in 2006. When only ONE parent of a child born abroad is American, the law applicable is the one in vigor in 1970. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/travel-legal-considerations/us-citizenship/Acquisition-US-Citizenship-Child-Born-Abroad.html …

There are soooo many other times that the American athlete has the focus of many American sports fans. Why pick the one time that many of us that serve or have served our county find so disdainful?

I love Steve Kerr as a basketball player and coach. But, wow, I don't love Steve Kerr as a political activist for the liberal left agenda. Assuming that the audience thinks anywhere near where he thinks is naive, and this is an awful commentary about the state of America.
