Cruz was born to an American mother working in Canada (who attended Rice U in Houston) and Cuban father (attended UT), he moved to Houston when he was 4 and was raised here. Sounds like you’re intentionally misleading. BTW, you didn’t address “Beto” eluding to being Hispanic.

Nope, Cruz was born to a woman born in Delaware who, he neglected to mention, lived in the UK w/1st husband prior to moving to Canada. If she didn't respect the uninterrupted US residency requirements & lied to get him a passport (lying runs in the family), he is not a US citizen

Wrong. His father (and mother) were both Canadian citizens at the time of his birth. His father only became a US citizen in 2006. There are soooo many other times that the American athlete has the focus of many American sports fans. Why pick the one time that many of us that serve or have served our county find so disdainful?

I love Steve Kerr as a basketball player and coach. But, wow, I don't love Steve Kerr as a political activist for the liberal left agenda. Assuming that the audience thinks anywhere near where he thinks is naive, and this is an awful commentary about the state of America.

Kneeling for the dead is not disrespectful.

Kneeling during the anthem is disrespectful. Kneeling in prayer or in honor for the dead at a service is respectful, but that is not what the players are doing.

Demanding your civil rights is not disrespectful either.
