Most kids, when told about their family’s heritage, have enough sense to do some genealogy research and a DNA test rather than just take their parents’ and grandparents’ word for it. What a lazy kid she must have been.

I love her answer. Our heritage is important, and is part of us, regardless of what we look like. If everyone felt this way, I don't think racism and hate would have as much of a hold on our country.

The fuck are you talking about. So if a parent tells a kid that their family is part Native or black, or Irish or German or anything else, the kid should ignore that and not believe them? Is that what you did? Youre making up some insane standard bc you dont like her.

Has anybody ever done the deep dive to find out why her fathers parents didn’t want him to marry her mother ? It’s clear they were trying to come up with reasons to dissuade him. Maybe there are some (more) skeletons in the Meema Pau-pah closet
