Alliance say it's up to the people to decide on unity but then REFUSE to back a border poll. Why not let the people decide? Vote SF.

Have you considered that a referendum during hard negotiations on the biggest constitutional change in recent history might be a bad idea?

Have you considered that unity wins we can avoid the disasterous hard brexit the Tories want to impose of us?

I deal with the reality that the Secretary of State has already ruled out calling one. That means working with parties across the island...

So you don't back a border poll because the SoS said no? The DUP said no to equal marriage. You speak out against them. Why roll over to SoS?

That's not to say that it shouldn't happen in the future - after all the GFA provides for it. But it's obvious now isn't the handiest time

No one said now. Within 5 years. After march 2019. Will you support giving the people a choice on unity within that timeframe?

lol I've been doing interviews alongside SF reps this whole campaign - "no one said now" is nonsense.

Your dodging the question. Will you back a border poll after march 2019? Should the people get to decide? Yes or No?

No I was correcting your inaccurate assertion. But - if conditions set out by GFA around a border poll are met then yes it should be allowed
