It’s astonishing and very disappointing that Senate Democrats voted against protecting life. This shouldn’t be about politics. This is about basic human rights.

It's totally about politics. Seems a little coincidental that this is the one thing that McConnell has forced a vote on. I haven't noticed that your interest in basic human rights extends any farther than what might get you and Donald votes.

Do you think your constituents are that stupid? McConnell put up this bill and not the background checks or reducing the cost of prescriptions but these votes. It is already illegal not to perform live saving procedures on a newborn. Abortion is already legilsated.

A woman, even a pregnant one, is a life. A real fully formed life, with full rights including full autonomy, right to opinions and personal decisions. Show me the fetus rights, they aren't even technically citizens and according to current immigration beliefs have no rights.

Pro-lifers are seeking to deny a woman’s choice from the indeterminate point of conception. No one is fooled by the pain argument because the neurological development hasn’t progressed to an existing person to feel pain. This is all a religious issue. Zygotes don’t have souls.
