Blizzard World map had 101 days before it officially 'launched' in competitive. 23 days later, it received a much needed change.

As everyone knows, Mercy was busted for months. Jeff told me you can't get it right on the first try. That comment still rings in my head every time I see how long they let their first try go completely unchecked, despite all the opportunities they create for themselvs to check

I've already done it, no regrets. Comp is not enjoyable at all

QP and an empty PTR don’t qualify as testing imo. I agree changes need to happen and the feedback was there prior to competitive but the data they care about comes from comp games. Not the ones with one tank, Brig, Widow, Genji, Hanzo.

Blizzard doesn't test things really competetive is the test ground. There's legit no reason to keep things of comp because they balance things only after comp release

Especially worse since they delayed her in comp by 4 weeks? Normally they release a new hero in comp after 2 weeks now it was 6. Still they didn't do anything about her even tho people were saying she is really strong and needed attention.
