I completely support the Hong Kong protesters but I have to ask: How does what blizzard did impact them? Once the player did what he did blizzard was put into a lose-lose situation. I disagree with what Blizz did, but they were in deep shit either way. I’m asking genuinely btw
I never had thought about it like that but I still think there could have been a better way to handle the situation for both parties.
I can respect the different opinion but I think the worst their own employees may have suffered was being fired. It's not as bad as having human rights denied. Plus I'm pretty sure the two interviewers were fired as well when they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The perspective of blizzard trying to protect its employees is one I haven't thought of and it does make sense but I think it's about a bigger picture than just that. It's an American company censoring someone who just wants human rights on behalf of a commie regime for money.
ster i really like you but there really is only one good side here if we are being honest, it would be wrong to not pick that side lol
How does censoring and withholding a players prize money “protect” employees in a Shanghai blizzard office ?
