the big channels get some kind of decent exceptions or customer service or something. everyone else just makes a ton of different videos with animated borders on the copyrighted content and test upload them privately until they pass the test
Once you're past a certain number of subs (100k I think) Youtube assigns you an actual human so you don't need to scream into the support bot void
Im not sure about CinemaSins specifically, but a lot of creators have opened up patreons on the side so they can actually keep paying the bills.

Whenever Jerma watches a video somebody links in chat (like that Nic Cage clip) I always think “oh boy, the poor people at the archive channel are gonna have to deal with the reprocussions of that” 
i've had a video blocked and i proceeded to appeal it, video went back up and will stay up unless the rights holder decides it's not fair use (and so far it's been fine). i recommend watching this for info on how to deal with it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuTHhtCyzLg …
