I love how they straight up said "Its a FTP Battle Royale with lootboxes published by EA and not a new IP. Theres no point trying to advertise it, just release and show how fun it is" Worked out great so far
It's such a better marketing strategy. Anthem has been marketed for years with extremely polished teaser footage, then the beta reveals all the flaws, false promises and overhyped features. Apex launches with zero expectations and people say "Oh it's free? Guess I'll try it"
I dont see how Apex "not being bad" is an argument against the lack of endgame content of anthem. Regardless of the publisher
