you don't even need a good PC, tbh. The biggest perk of the consoles is that they don't really need to be replaced, so more than anything you just need one of those tiny raspberry pi's that are built for emulating the retro games.

If they just sold the roms i would buy them ngl

Sega straight-up lets you do that on Steam, if you look in the files for Genesis games you can get the ROM & pop in whatever emulator you like Sega doing what Nintendon't & Nintenever will, & Sonwon't & Microshant

And Nintendo can't even do any of this right.

They used to with the Wii and Wii U era but now they’ve gone to shit

And just think this is where the PlayStation 3 is probably going to go with some of the DLC and shit later on.

Worst part is that when they “try” it’s difficult to access or you have to pay subscriptions to play it (NES and SNES on Switch, because they’re outright purchasable on 3DS and the Wii U e-stores and we all know those will close down sooner or later too)
-
Or how about the fact that PS1 games aren’t on PS4 despite being on the PSP, Vita and PS3. I’d pay for games like Um Jammer Lammy and Ape Escape, but I literally don’t have the option to.
