    Thinking outside of the box to support a vulnerable detainee alongside . We have had great support from and his youth support service today , who arrived within 15 mins of our request to support a young person. 👍 👊

    PD Nala has hung up her lead and retired from after 8 years of dedicated service. She has been the most incredible police dog and will be very much missed by us all. She will be putting her paws up at home with her handler Sean and his family.

    A day for me today. 8 detainees in Kettering custody suite 2x burglary 2x affray 1x theft 3x court warrants. In Northampton we have 8 detainees 2x domestic abuse 1x shoplifting and spitting at police 4x court warrants !

    Following community concerns, the Mereway team conducted a Road Traffic Op today, the focus this afternoon, 126 vehicles stopped, 9 prosecuted for speeding, 12 advised ref speeding, 1 arrest for Disqual, same vehicle recovered for no insurance.

    Yesterday morning PD Bryn went for a walk with his chauffeur and family. On returning to the van, a mobile phone was missing, dropped during 45 mins of open field walks. Bryn was tasked to find it and after 25 mins searching, found it in the middle of a field!

    Great to see and making a difference

    Ended the shift by locating a High Risk Missing Person whos vehicle had activated on our camera. Missing person safe and well. The driver however provided a positive road side drugs test so was arrested at the location by Cambs RCT.

    Thank you Colleen, the worry about being stuck with a label or being embarrassed about what people might think about you stops people getting help, it's silly.
