lol hey remember how WB Games created the coolest genre changing Nemesis system for Shadow of Mordor but then never used it again and then they patented the mechanic so no one else could implement that same mechanic into any other game?

My theater absolutely lost their shit. This makes me so fucking sad.

Charlie Cox says it was 'dead fucking quiet' in the theater during his scene in #SpiderManNoWayHome "I was so disappointed – my wife [was] recording me ... and then... tumbleweed" 😭 (via @RadioTimes)

This is your yearly PSA to turn off Motion Smoothing on your TV. It doesn't enhance the image. It was purely a marketing gimmick meant to trick people into thinking an HDTV looked super next-gen sitting next to the CRT TVs at the store back in the day. Your eyes will thank you.

A cop flipped over a pregnant woman's car because she didn't pull over quick enough. Not only is what she did not wrong, it's what you're supposed to do: turning on hazards to indicate you're complying and pulling over at the next safe place to do so... This man is still a cop.

It's an absolute shame that the divisiveness of The Last Jedi led so many to overlook Mark Hamill's career-defining performance. Say what you want about that film but my dude returns to play a character with a 30-year gap and didn't miss a fucking step as Luke Skywalker. King.

Feels like if Triple Frontier had been released in theaters it would've been a huge hit. It's basically a Ghost Recon heist movie starring Pedro Pascal, Oscar Isaac, Ben Affleck, Adria Arjona and Charlie Hunnam but like no one talks about it. Not perfect but it's fucking awesome.

It's the summer of 2014. You're already halfway through your bucket of popcorn. The Legendary Outlaw Star-Lord just hit play on his Walkman. Life is good.

Can we all take a minute to just appreciate Dave Bautista? You genuinely feel his passion and effort for his work in every project no matter how serious or silly. A true talent. Love this man.

You think this is bad? This? This chicanery? Better Call Saul has been nominated for 46 Emmys. FORTY. SIX. And they never won. Not one. What other prequels are good, let alone a masterpiece that almost surpasses the original!? Greatest prequel of all time. What a sick joke!

full transparency. I am spending nearly every dollar I've saved up for the past 3 years on this Halo short film. All the cash from my freelance gigs, Patreon, Kickstarter and odd jobs. It's ridiculous I know. But I know it in my bones that it'll pay off as soon as we drop it.

I have some stunt friends who have worked on Cruise productions and they always talk about how he's the best stuntman they know because he has not only the years of experience but the resources to practice literally more than anyone (the time, money and will to get shots perfect)

Uh. Wow. So. We might have actually opened some doors on my Jimmy Woo X-Files idea. I'm spending the weekend writing the pitch. Can't express how much of an underdog I am in this scenario so get too excited but cross your fingers and thanks to everyone who made it possible.

Halo live-action ad spots were honestly the biggest inspiration for me in becoming a director. This short film is an homage to those trailers and the games that defined my love for sci-fi as a kid. Helljumpers is a character-focused vignette blending Band of Brothers and Halo.

Really am not exaggerating when I say that Guardians of The Galaxy is one of the best written, performed and most beautiful games I have ever played. You may think I’m kidding. I’m not. It’s on Game Pass. I seriously can not recommend it enough. Do not skip this flarking game.

Pls. . This is a random request, I know ya’ll are busy, but please consider using Infinite’s beautiful concept art as the loading screen for multiplayer matches instead of the same canyon each time. Your artists work so hard it would be a cool way to show off their stuff.

If you want more Guardians of The Galaxy, I beg you, play the absolutely stellar Eidos game. It captures the tone & spirit of the films while being one of the best written games I've ever played. It's like a perfect blend of Mass Effect & God of War. Only $17 on Steam right now!

While you're here if you're looking for an absolutely fantastic open-world game you might've missed out on from WB and Avalanche... Play Mad Max. It's so so so much fun and regularly goes on sale for like $4.99.

I think Netflix lost the plot way back when they disabled the ability to take screenshots of their content that people could meme and share online easily for free marketing.

It's just so much cooler to have a new hero emerge from being like just anybody, and narratively it's better to connect with as an audience because you TOO feel like you could be a hero, no like "oh you're only special because Sith nepobaby."

NEW: Yesterday EA and Respawn quietly canceled a single-player game in the Apex/Titanfall universe, according to three people familiar. EA will try to find new positions for the ~50 people who were on the team but will lay off those who can't be placed: bloomberg.com/news/articles/

The Last of Us is outstanding. Y'all know it's my life goal to make truly great video game movies & this proves it's possible. Sets a whole new standard for adaptations that I hope other creators & studios follow, while having the greatest "zombie outbreak" ever put to film.

Children of Men was *that* film that made me realize I wanted to make movies. I saw it 5 times in the theater & couldn't understand why I loved it so much. It just hit, you know? To the point where I've realized this flick has influenced my filming style more than any other.

That first season of The Mandalorian was so freaking perfect. With this playful spaghetti western tone that felt so similar to the original Star Wars trilogy and its adventure of the week simplicity. So damn great.
