    I mean we already have self-ID in bathrooms, changing rooms, shelters the like which anti-trans campaigners were fearmongering about. This is just about keeping a legal process expensive and invasive for no good reason.

    Big news: looks like the govt won't be allowing transgender self-ID "We have also come to understand that gender recognition reform, though supported in the consultation undertaken by the last government, is not the top priority for transgender people."

    Who knew six months ago that we’d be in the same place six months later because this government paid Deloitte & Serco millions for a testing & tracing system that doesn’t work, that would be headed up by one of their mates...? Nothing should surprise us after this.
