    Growing up as the son of a devoted single mother in Mississippi, I saw as a pathway to economic security and mobility. It delivered. I’m excited to join Strada to help others achieve their own American Dream.

    Dr. Wharton was passionate about ensuring LSU would be affordable for students from poor families. He cared deeply about the institution, its students, and La. My sense is that LSU is a better place because of his contributions. I will miss him and our talks very much. 5/5
