The city-wide lockdown for 13 million residents of Xi'an came after only dozens more extra infections today (according to official figures). Following mass testing, if the infection numbers don't blow out, it could be that the city shutdown doesn't last for long?

In
#China the#COVID19 responses are mostly a local government decision it seems. The size, timing, scope of#coronavirus control measures come from regional, city or town governments. That’s why the responses have differed. However there has been cross-pollination.Show this thread -

Though this is the sixth day in a row with increased
#covid infection numbers (according to official stats) the total figure is still only around 200 people over the past couple of weeks. 13 million locked down residents have already been tested twice. So shutdown not too long?Show this thread
