In order to recall Chesa Boudin here's what must happen: 20 registered SF voters must sponsor a recall initiative. Their names will be public record but addresses redacted. So if I am one of the sponsors, everyone well know that I, Stephen Martin-Pinto will be behind it, and...

To recall
@chesaboudin San Francisco values would have to change, to favor more mass incarceration, renewed brutal application of the drug war, and on average San Francisco would have to appreciate rather than fear its terrifying police state. https://twitter.com/Scott_Wiener/status/1326701491294359554 …pic.twitter.com/70pugSipVX2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
Given how regularly brutal violent and murderous our corrupt police state is, imo they have little chance of engendering the trust that San Francisco would IMO need to no longer appreciate the protection of
@SFDAOffice@chesaboudin . They beat a independent to support him daily.pic.twitter.com/lqC5Vced4U2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

As they are current equipped and trained, no. I do think there is a need for something like them, and that we must as a society figure out how to address violent crime, however our violent police state is not a acceptable or productive response to this.pic.twitter.com/CLFC1ryabQ

So what would your version of the police be? If some comes breaks into your house what would the cops do? Or if someone steals your stuff what would the cops do then?

Doesn't seem like the cops do anything now to resolve any of those issues, when my vehicle was stolen recently they told me they no longer investigate auto theft. I want them to address violent, and property crime, and leave victimless crimes alone. But others want more.

Problem is they've been set up to fail. They'rere understaffed, they don't have support from politicians, they've taken an unfair beating in the media. Every move SFPD makes is dissected scrutinized analyzed and they're always found to be at fault in court of public opinion.

Our politicians have set our police up to fail, when they've directed them to use force to solve a wide variety of unsolvable societal problems, oppress political activism, instead of focusing on maintaining social order like they might be useful for.pic.twitter.com/r5YPz9AT4v
