I was just talking about the risk, not the actual damage. Like White evangelical parents worrying that JLo pole dancing is gonna turn Little Tommy into a horndog, or worse, make Little Susie a lesbian (because they don't know she already is).

They weren't that revealing. I've seen worse on regular tv. And what's so wrong with a woman's body? I'd rather kids don't watch all the violence on the news.
-
Kids are also aware of a lot more than their parents realize, if they honestly believe the halftime show is the most sexual thing their child has ever been exposed to. It's 2020, and sex is everywhere.

I have yet to hear anyone go against the grain on the NFL’s, pretty shitty, but attempts at reducing injury. Seems as if both topics are going in complete opposite directions. Performances getting more sexual.
-
My point is, if someone is going to argue that the women were objectified and commodified, it is intellectually disingenuous to dismiss the same being done to the players just because one prefers football.

Now suppose a guy enjoys the sport, hates the injuries and thought the halftime show was full of happy performers and positive energy?

Then he's called a football fan.

Hm...what is going on if a person enjoyed them both equally? Asking for a friend.

This tweet isn't about that person, so they can just keep scrolling!
