Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game versus the Bengals. His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition.

The Wheel at ICON Park remains closed for maintenance today. Sparks were flying during a power failure Saturday night while people were on the ride. Firefighters safely rescued more than 60 people trapped inside the pods. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

-they are manually moving the wheel to get people out
-20 pods were occupied when the power went out
-firefighters climbed up the wheel to let people stuck know what was going on
-firefighters have trained for this before

On 12/18 just before 6p.m. officers responded to a vehicle vs building (Hideaway Bar) with injuries. The driver remained on scene. There were 4 injured persons transported to the hospital by @OrlandoFireDept in stable condition. This is an ongoing investigation.

Waves are starting to crash on the boardwalk in Daytona Beach. Wind gusts are at 39mph right now and by Thursday gusts could peak at 80mph. A mandatory evacuation order has gone into place starting tomorrow but it already feels like a ghost town out here.
