Oh hey, by the way... since some of you have said something to me: if you only use BC to prevent pregnancy that's great too.

My point of my tweet this am was to point out that BC has many positives for women, & if you check my mentions, it can be life saving!

In conclusion of my tweet storm: We need to continue to fight to keep birth control affordable for all! It helps and saves lives!

@Stefmara Not trying to be inflammatory but if a drug has legitimate uses for other than bc, why can't/don't they reclassify it as such? -
@dogmile71 B/c the uses are centered around a woman's reproductive area. Helps ease heavy cramping, heavy bleeding, regulates periods. -
@Stefmara Makes sense, but imo it would also make sense for something that's used for more than bc to be classified as such. -
@dogmile71 that's it's MAIN reason. The others are considered side effects. -
@Stefmara but if prescribed to treat something other than the "MAIN" reason, then it's intended use by the Dr. should be the rule, no? - Show more
