College was still one of my biggest mistakes. That is with getting degrees that the market wanted. Not worth the lost time or the money.

Me it was 8 years thanks to adding a masters degree. I also had a friend who took 10 years to get his opera degree, that has very little job prospects. I had to shake my head at that. At least when he did it. College was a whole lot cheaper.

@WhiteHouse Student Loans are a YUGE racket that have left millions of us in debt for 20+yrs. We Must Demand#InterestFree loans!!! -
Did you sign your name knowing the interest rate? There are no do overs. Learn now that your signature means something. It is your word!
-
There are always do-overs in the name of reforms...
-
So what you are saying is that you want me and others to pay your debt? Just asking since it was already accrued.
-
No. 'Interest Free' IS NOT Free College. Rates that lending giants tack onto loans squelch ability to pay back loan.
-
But what was the contract you signed? Was it an interest free loan when you signed it?
-
There are NO interest free student loans. When you sign contract, you just want to pay tuition & think I’ll have a great job to pay back $.
-
But many people work and go to school part time. I do wish you well.
