I don't know about the rest of you, but when an employee jumps off the roof at Foxconn I blame the architect first and Isaac Newton second.

That's a very interesting idea....

I may be wrong about this, but every school shooter is an active, or former student of that school. They're not looking for a school at random as a target. It's their school.

People need to CUT THE CABLE to END SCHOOL SHOOTINGS.https://twitter.com/WOLFM00N/status/997854032684306432 …

Agreed. Problem is most people are tools. They want black and white delivered to them conveniently, without having to read the grey-ish between the lines information found within the very same insight found not only within such media loops, but throughout the internet altogether.

Agreed. It goes much deeper than mental health. It has to do with the education culture the kids are raised in. Needs to be seriously looked at.
-
The same could be said for the culture of the military, the workplace and religious places of worship. After all, such shootings aren’t reserved for schools alone.

Interesting thought. U may be on to something. Perhaps a look into the connection of mostly boys being diagnosed with ADD/ADHD & class size in elementary level. Also, how does current teaching methods affect girls vs boys mental health?
-
Definitely a connection to long term ADHD treatment of young males with Amphetamines. There are other ways to treat it. Strangely one is Mountain Dew.

In my opinion the NEA is a crime union that should be dismantled. It takes young, professional, selfless, enthusiastic teachers and turns them into defensive, unmotivated, frightened and passive people who have given in to fear and discouragement.

Yes, they own the conditions. Bullying is tolerated in the schools. If that pushes a kid over the edge, then they are part of the problem. They also are the main source for the deplorable shaming of boys.

Since shotguns and revolvers are as ubiquitous as hammers in this country, I think the outrage of choice on this one is gonna be "he was a Nazi fan; blame Trump"
-
We got shootings in canada too though quite a number less, where there are VERY strict gun laws, lower population and a culture that frowns upon non-regulated use of firearms... Just because its illegal or easily accessable doesnt mean people wont get their hands on it.

For your analogy to work either the parents should own the shooting or the teachers should be doing the shootings.
