Better yet, become a member of Mensa. Casually mention this whenever you meet someone new. It may not seem like it, but people will be very impressed!

I should know, since I am a member of Mensa.

Here's another tip for the budget-conscious. Just take the "Are You a Genius?" test from an old Reader's Digest and casually work the results into conversations. It is basically the same as an IQ/Mensa test. People may outwardly laugh, but on the inside they will be impressed!
-
Do those facebook tests count?
-
Only if you print the result out, you can't just show them the image on your phone. It also has to say "Genius", as lower results aren't as impressive.

And yet you still don’t understand that it’s grammatically incorrect to end a sentence with a preposition.
-
That’s because ‘grammar’ is a liberal art. As are, ironically, the two ‘professions’ listed in his bio, rhetoric (“radio host”) and philosophy ...

How does an IQ test tell me if someone is qualified for a job? If someone did this to me at an interview, I'd laugh them out of the office.
-
Furthermore, what’s wrong with an arts degree? Getting a BA instead of a BS doesn’t make you any less intelligent or willing to do what the job requires.
-
A BA at least shows you did some work and have experience related to the job. The only thing an IQ test does is give you a number that is irrelevant to real world skill or experience. It's nice if you want to pat yourself on the back, but useless in application.
-
If I got a resume from someone that their IQ score on it and nothing else that proved they were a good fit for the job, it would be a hard pass into the circular file
-
You’d think someone with an IQ score high enough to be impressive would be smart enough to know the signalling values credentials have. I’m also curious as to how they made the cut all the way to the interview stage...
-
And another thing, why teens? Am I correct in thinking this advice is aimed at 16-18 year olds? Isn’t it gauche to add high school achievements to your resume for a job once you graduate college?
-
A recent application form wanted all qualifications and school data from age 11!
-
Wow. That’s waaaay more info than what I gave/had to give to get my current job. I don’t know if I can even remember enough of that stuff to fill that qualification
