Are you saying not to notice that the suicide rate for men starting point was 4x higher than for women & it continued to climb? HuffPo is not saying that the lives of men are less important than women?

It was though? It seems that the some groups of women went from ~5 => ~9 which is a ~80% increase. While men went from ~20 => ~26 which is only a ~30% increase.

However look at the other groups of women stayed the same or increased very little

The increase of actual number of men is higher than women, but I guess they are talking percentage increase last 15 years, which means they are technically right. Their focus is very biased of course.
