I don’t understand why people can’t accept this. You’ll be fine if you try to compensate for the low I.Q by working hard and staying focused.

wow, you mean that the same people who are treated poorly and exploited by people misinterpreting data are the same people fighting against making that data important? what a scoop.

you're only telling half the story. all cultures groups races have potential to improve iq. it may take 100s of years but all have same potential. otherwise poor peruvian kids wouldn't be beating rich israelis and indians at int math olympiad.

        1. That a mean IQ per race exists doesn't mean some individuals can't be on either side of the spectrum. 2. It may also 100s of years for that population's IQ to fall, plus high IQ populations could raise their score in that time, too.

of course but you can't keep pointing to that while ignoring poor stereo typically unsmart PERU! beating super smart ashk jewish rich kids from israel and the creme de la creme of 1.2B ppl india.

That's just individual differences, it doesn't say much about a population's IQ. Also, for this to have any real meaning about races, you'd have to go in each country and force all high IQ children to participate. Some may not have wanted to participate for their own reasons.

india has 1.3 billion ppl; all amerindians are maybe 300 million. but my broader point is that you have to control for socio economic background to make comparison meaningful. you can't compare all new yorkers to say all iowans and then say aha nyers are 'genetically' smarter.

You think they're not taking SES into account? You'd normally want to isolate all other factors to study the one you want. So unless you can point me to research that has this particular error, I'd argue that researchers did that already, because it should be standard practice.

i suspect they don't but i don't know. they take a rep sample of 'all romanians' say which includes lots of farmers etc and compare it to rep sample of all english say which includes very few farmers etc and then say aha eng are smarter.

It'd be pretty simple to compare though. Τake a good sample, then split it into high, mean, and lower SES, get the IQ means, do that for 2 countries, then compare. Ie if SES is the contributing factor, there should be no statistic difference for their respective SES groups.

Which facts would those be? Is there something you'd like to share? Like perhaps a specific polymorphism name that is found exclusively in certain ethnicities? I'll wait.

Stefan has a series of YouTube videos where he conducts interviews of researchers that have specialized in gathering these "facts". Definitely worth a watch.

Trans-racial individuals. Race is an identity. Is their argument that an identity can change your IQ?
