Why the surprise? When you allow those with lower IQ control the information about IQ then false and inaccurate information is what they deliver whether on purpose or not. Obviously, it's in their best interest to censor the truth. Facts are fascists, after all.

Most books shouldn’t be printed and even more should be destroyed bc of their lack of truthful/accurate information; time is the biggest factor. One day soon there will be no use for a book on tigers as AI will scan/compile all info into a wiki page and constantly verify

If you don't mind me asking, what are your degrees?

I am working on a course for graduates and want to include intelligence. I read this paper but can someone point me to qualitative reading about g theory intelligence?
#intelligence -
g is a statistical observation resulting from factor analysis. IQ scores also arise from statistical procedures. So, qualitative methodologies (valuable as they can be) are often incompatible with these concepts. Would a nontechnical source meet your needs?
-
O, I didn't mean qualitative as opposed to quantitative. I meaned a good read, something of good quality

I like
@StuartJRitchie's book INTELLIGENCE: ALL THAT MATTERS. It's short enough to read in one afternoon and presents a VERY mainstream view of the field. For something more in-depth, I like Hunt's (2011) HUMAN INTELLIGENCE book. It's the textbook in my undergrad class. -
Thank you very much for the effort!

The majority of one's IQ is innate. You are born with it, and you either have a high IQ or the potential for a high IQ — or you don't. The remainder is environmental based upon experiences. In a nutshell ... you just don't get what the Good Lord ain't done gave ya.
