If a significant portion of a person’s income were cut because of the political bias of a #YouTube moderator, that person could be pushed over the edge. Especially if that person were susceptible to that mental state. I am not justifying the act- just presenting a possible reason

A musician friend broke down the YouTube pay scale for me. I doubt she made a lot. Mental illness was more likely an issue than demonetization. No sympathy, but what mentally stable person would react the way that she did due to demonetization?

I want to add that this is not sympathy or a justification, whatsoever. I don’t feel generally sorry for her; only the families of the victims and themselves.

I agree but also can't imagine what it would be like to have once livelihood destroyed over non aligning politics.

I feel very bad for her, it sounds like @YouTube WAS discriminating her videos and she had been fighting this for a while. If only her last resort wasn't going in with a gun and shooting, and then killing herself.
