Also a perfect example of how people that want to inflict harm will find a way to do so. AR-15s have absolutely nothing to do with killing. It's a tool, we've had people mowed over with automobiles, people killed with knives, bombs, and a variety of different firearms.

Nick Cruz killed more people with his AR-15 in six minutes than were murdered in all of February in London during this "dramatic surge" in knife violence. Claiming that choice of weapon is irrelevant to the outcome is an emotional and political argument, not a rational one.

And if the schools were not defenseless gun free zones, with armed police 10 minutes away, who then cowar outside behind cars, then Cruz would not have been able to kill so many people in 6 minutes. An armed staff member could have stopped him in 30 seconds.

One scared resource officer, probably ordered to stand down by an inept police chief was not enough. Also, most terrorist attacks in countries like Israel are stopped by armed civilians not police.

Nick Cruz murdered more people in February than all the murderers in London or New York, and it only took him six minutes. Can't help but think if he'd been armed with a chef's knife rather than an AR-15 this probably (definitely) would not be the case.
