That's TRUe. But it isn't the real problem. Take a look at the legacy retirement payouts from the new Post office to the Old post office retirees. Nobody expected those people to LIve this Long. To be Blunt. DC had the same problem for 30 years till The Feds assumed the debt.

The USPS generates $60 billion dollars a year stuffing my mailbox full of junkmail, but only costs $19 billion to run it. We need to #EndUSPSMonopoly

So they get guaranteed influx of business and give Amazon a deal on shipping charges. I don't see the problem.

Amazon’s there only actual consumer. I’m not bagging Trump, I voted for him. Truth is it’s a gov’t service. If anyone actually cares about the competitiveness and well being of the Post Office, then it needs to be privatized.

The solution isn't to dissolve a Constitutional institution - the solution is to charge Amazon a "fair market price" for shipping goods.

Are these people stupid for a living? Obviously they don't know how the post office works, how it's run or it's place in the government.

How is it a monopoly? Does it have exclusive rights to use certain infrastructure?

Stefan, don’t speak of things you know nothing about. The legal monopoly is part of the constitution and amazon largely is very profitable for it. Be smarter than this.

In DC They used to call Home Rule, HOME FOOL, Because DC had to pay all those retirees most of whom no longer lived in Dc and couldn't pass a commuter tax to cover the shortfall. And the Sheer amount of Buildings that pay no property tax. Because the FEDS exempted them.
