        No we don't. We just don't think mega corporations, many of them based in foreign countries that do not share our own interests (cough Nestle cough), should be able to poison our food, air and water with impunity.

        But when they look to govt, they presume that govt will always be efficient, thorough, and respect the law. When govt is none of these, they are clueless as to why, or that govt failure should give them pause the next time.

        American leftists (e.g. @SenWarren @SenSanders) don't hate free markets. We believe markets permitted to operate freely will solve many of our problems. State intervention is a last resort when @GOP manipulation of markets breaks them.
