I am an woman. I worked in an office where I was constantly had to pitch in and cover for women on maternity leave. Long story short: I was always there. I learned so much covering for them I got promoted over them. Employment is guaranteed under fam leave. Position isn't.

Chinnifer Maniston lied to them too. Now 49 and still childless under a mountain of piling regret and the cratering SMV that consumes her. First "YOU don't need a man to have a baby". Then it's "nobody's business".pic.twitter.com/FbgNMKZn1i

Having a baby helped my career. Suddenly, my time was much more valuable to me. My attitude at the workplace completely changed (for the better). After becoming a mother, I negotiated for better pay and hours and would NOT take "No" for an answer.

This is why we have a pay gap at the top. And I hope for humanities sake, it always remains that way. Raising a family is soo much better than raising a company!
-
That's subjective
-
Well of course it is, but ask 100 people and i would say 90 would agree with the statement, the other 10 might say it is equal.... Without families there is no human race, quite simple.. and yes you can live without business, just ask the aborigines.

Making money = helpful, if necessary. Raising children = everything!

Friends of mine are not sure about having a kid together, he has 1 from prev. marriage, she no kids. The other day he asked me if pesto would sell at my restaurant. When I asked why he said she was bored and needed a hobby. I suggested a kid, maybe name it Pesto.

Make a choice. Know that every choice comes with sacrifice. Some people reffer to that at being a grown up.

It will hurt your career - because you just won’t care quite as much. As well you shouldn’t. Who will attend your funeral?
