This is an issue on the far college age left but it isn't fair to say "democrats" most democrats over 40 oppose suppression of speech like @billmaher @BernieSanders . And even @TeamPelosi has come out loudly against this. But their friends in academia are not listening at all

Isn't that exactly what happens on the universities nowadays? The leftists are doing fine from their point of view.

There is no rationality anymore when people are wholesale systematically disempowered. Rationality = the power of the individual to be right.

Yet another excellent reason to #homeschool our kids Public education can do the following for us; it can come up with a standardized test to evaluate homeschooled kids, public votes on test's validity, reevaluate the test every 2-4 years, Leave me to teach MY kids real knowledge

What about the idea of evil itself? Is it rational to rely on a rational arguments concerning the good itself, or evil itself? Or the beautiful & the ugly? Is there no purely aesthetic or purely moral orientation for our values?

Let’s just start with teaching objective morality. There is good and there is evil.

I once ran across a book whose title was the perfect characterizationof this time: the Age of Unreason.

And by teaching them others don't have the fight to say things that you "feel" are offensive. Then indoctrinate children into believing that anything that goes against leftist ideology is offensive.
