When your definition of a 'diverse' candidate is Black, Hispanic, or female, then you are absolutely hiring people based on their identity.
Forced diversity through racism. Interesting approach by @Google.
"One team member complained that managers were speaking about Blacks like they were objects"pic.twitter.com/ni3uNRvoLC
Hmm. Rejecting people based on their ethnicity? But that's.. that's RACIST! Heavens no, not Google!
Incredible ageism there too. A Google manager once told me he only hires single people because marrieds are less willing to relocate or work late hours.
BTW, I am pretty sure this hiring practice is totally illegal.
I take it that by having a bias against whites and Asians, they don't mean east Indians?
Google suffering from first world company problems. They are successful and need something to worry about. Once they stumble in the marketplace maybe they will care less about penises and pigment. And maybe talent and success will matter again.
Blatant discrimination
This is the new apartheid. Look at South Africa this week. @Google supports racism and apartheid.
"Diversity" is the Left's favorite buzzword, but it essentially means let's discriminate against Whites and now Asians too. Anyone they consider "privileged" will be discriminated against. This is totally racist.
You have to love the hypocrisy of reverse racism, they start out on the right foot wanting to eradicate it and always end up in the same sinking boat! Racism is always wrong period. Stopped being one for the sake of PC.
